Toads Crossing Essay! 

Blog Intro:

          So Hi Guys once again to my blogs, I really need to apologize for not posting blogs lately because I've been busy with my monthly test, and plus soon my finals are also gonna start. So in preparation for all of that, I just forgot to post new blogs. And the blog "Life Without Electricity " I wrote was the theme given in this year's ICATS contest about creative writing. Just pray that I would win cause I am getting impatient cause the result are not given yet. So today I am here with a very interesting topic: "TOADS CROSSING"! Let's begin!! 

 Unusual Jobs:

        Well, you know some people in England have unusual jobs. They are employed as crossing guards for toads during the spring mating season. The job requires the guards to work long hours through the night and sometimes in undesirable weather conditions. Often it is cold and dark. Often it rains all night. Some nights can be really boring.


 

Why Do Toads Cross Roads?

        The toads must cross busy roads to get from their 
winter homes to the breeding ponds. Many toads are killed as they cross these roads, so the guards help them cross the road safely. The guards have special signs and torches. Road signs warn drivers.

New Way Built To Cross Roads:

       Special tunnels are being made under the roads. It's 
easy to make a tunnel but it'll not be easy to make toads learn how to cross one of them. Hopefully, the toads find and use these tunnels.
